Let’s Make Art is an independent arts organisation run by Karen and Alice in Bristol, where they are Artists in Residence at the Arnolfini. Like Starry Skies, they believe that creativity is a vital aspect to learning for all ages and abilities. Karen and Alice’s playful sessions are fun, imaginative and encouraging. They introduce all sorts of skills around texture, colour and composition to help children realise their artistic potential, take risks and create, uninhibited.
Let’s Make Art will be making sure Starry Skies 2023 is a colourful and crafty affair with the following workshops:
• Bird Costume Making, so all you feathery friends are fit for the fancy dress disco
• Lantern Making, so you can light the way to your tent in style
• Mask making
Plus a whole host of other sticking, painting and making sessions, all using recycled and sustainable materials where possible.
Our friends at Let’s Make Art have been busy doing some making of their own, and have come up with this fantastic book of craft projects and mini makes that you can do at home.
