The Starry Skies woodlands are abundant with wild flowers and animals, offering us the chance to learn lots about its inhabitants and how best to harness everything it has to offer. Our fabulous Forest School teachers guide you through an inspirational process that offers children and young people opportunities to achieve and develop their confidence through hands on learning in a woodland environment.

The use of a woodland setting is framed by strict safety routines and established boundaries. This allows the flexibility and freedom for child initiated learning and other innovative approaches to learning to take place in an environment of low risk to health and safety. Children learn to respect and sustain important environments and habitats.

Children are completely immersed in an awesome, exciting and wild environment teeming with flora and fauna. Whilst enjoying the woodland, children will engage in activities suitable to their age, which include old favourites and new ones such as:
clay animals, mud painting, whittling, scavenger hunt, bows and arrows and cooking over an open fire, to name a few.
